1. Introduction

stunter.ai (“stunter.ai,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered cold outreach platform designed to help students and job seekers identify professional contacts, generate personalized outreach messages, and manage campaigns. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your data, including any data we access through Google APIs.

This Privacy Policy explains our practices in a way that complies with applicable privacy laws and with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By using stunter.ai, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Accessed — Google User Data

stunter.ai accesses the following Google user data only when you sign in with Google:

  • Google profile data (sign-in only) — When you sign in with Google for authentication, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not use the Gmail API and we do not send emails through the app on your behalf.
  • Use of your email — Your email is used for login and account identification. We do not use the Gmail API or send cold outreach on your behalf from the app; you send those messages yourself from your own client. Separately, we may email you from stunter.ai for account, service, and other purposes described in Section 3.

We do not access Gmail, Google Workspace (e.g., Drive, Calendar), or any other Google data beyond the basic profile information (name, email) provided at sign-in.

3. Data Usage

We use Google user data only for the following purposes:

  • Login and account — Your email and name from Google sign-in are used to create and identify your account and to keep you logged in.
  • Personalization — Your name may be used to personalize outreach drafts (e.g., pre-filling the sender name in the draft). The app does not send emails for you; it provides a button that redirects you to your own Gmail app (or email client) with the message pasted in, and you send the email yourself.
  • Communications from stunter.ai — We may send emails to the address you provide when you create an account (including if you sign up with email and password or with Google). These may include account and security notices, product or policy updates, billing, replies to support requests, and, where permitted by law, marketing or promotional messages. You agree that we may contact you by email for these purposes. Where required, promotional emails include a way to unsubscribe.

We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not sell Google user data to any third party. We do not use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models. We do not send emails through the app using your email or Gmail; sending is done by you from your own email client.

4. Data Sharing With Third Parties

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform. Google user data is never sold. Below we list third parties that may process data in connection with our service, what data they receive, and why.

  • Email finding and verification — We use third-party providers for domain search and email verification when you use "Find contacts." We send only the data necessary for the request (e.g., company domain, name) to our providers.

  • AI providers — We use OpenAI (e.g., for draft generation) and may use other AI providers. When you generate drafts, we send only the inputs necessary to create the draft (e.g., contact name, company, your profile summary, tone settings) to the provider. We do not send your raw Gmail messages or full mailbox content to AI providers. OpenAI’s privacy policy: openai.com/privacy.
  • Hosting — Our application is hosted on Vercel. Server logs and request data may be processed by Vercel. Vercel’s privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Database — User data (including account info, campaigns, contacts, and drafts) is stored in Supabase, which is hosted on AWS. Supabase’s privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
  • Payment processor — Stripe processes subscription and payment data. We do not send Google user data to Stripe; Stripe receives only what is needed for billing (e.g., email, payment method). Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

We require these providers to use data only for the purposes we specify and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. We do not sell or share Google user data for advertising or for training third-party AI models.

5. Data Storage & Protection

Your data is stored in Supabase (database and auth), which runs on infrastructure hosted on AWS. Application hosting is provided by Vercel. We do not store your Google account password. We do not send email through the app or store Gmail OAuth tokens for sending; your email is used only for login, and you send outreach yourself from your own Gmail or email client via the redirect/paste flow.

We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all data between your device and our servers and between our servers and third-party services. Data at rest in our database is protected by Supabase’s security measures (including encryption where applicable). Access to user data is restricted to authenticated users accessing their own data and to our systems for providing the service; we do not use your data for unrelated purposes.

We follow reasonable security practices to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and to revoke stunter.ai’s access from your Google account if you stop using the service.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for the duration of your account. This includes profile information (name, email from sign-in), campaigns, contacts, and drafts. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and account-related data from our systems. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request (see Contact below).

We do not use the Gmail API or store Gmail OAuth tokens; we do not send email through the app. Draft content is stored only so you can copy or open it in your own Gmail (or other client) to send yourself.

To request deletion of your data, email us at support@stunter.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when completed. You may also revoke stunter.ai’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; that will unlink your Google sign-in but will not by itself delete other data we hold—for full deletion, please contact us.

7. User Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (e.g., via your profile settings or by contacting us).
  • Deletion — You may request deletion of your personal data and account; we will honor such requests within 30 days as described above.
  • Revoke Google sign-in — You may revoke stunter.ai’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions. This will unlink your Google account from stunter.ai but will not delete other data stored in stunter.ai (e.g., campaigns, drafts); for full deletion, contact us.
  • Marketing opt-out — Where applicable, you may opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or instructions included in those messages.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@stunter.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use session cookies and similar technologies for authentication and to keep you logged in. These are essential for the operation of the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to ad networks.

If we use analytics (e.g., to understand usage and errors), we will describe the service and how to opt out in this section. Currently we do not use third-party analytics that track you across other sites.

9. Children’s Privacy

stunter.ai is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age (or older where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@stunter.ai and we will delete it promptly.

10. Billing, Trials & Refunds

All subscription fees and credit purchases are non-refundable. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period. By starting a trial, you authorize stunter.ai to charge the payment method on file when the trial expires. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

Credits included with your subscription are non-transferable and have no cash value. Unused credits do not roll over beyond any limits described in your plan. Downgrading or canceling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

11. College Ambassador Program

stunter.ai may offer a college ambassador program from time to time. If you apply and are accepted into that program, the offer materials and any separate terms you agree to may include a guarantee that you can receive $100 if you do not secure an internship within two (2) weeks after acceptance, subject to eligibility rules described in the application or program agreement.

Whether you qualify, how “secure an internship” is verified, and how and when payment is made are set out in those program terms. This Privacy Policy does not replace those terms; it only describes that such an offer may exist for accepted college program participants. 12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. We may also notify you by email or through the application when changes are significant. Your continued use of stunter.ai after the updated policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
